Reply to this thread in order to recommend good threads that are informative and has previously been posted here on BritBike forum.
We are also very interested to publish new articles/threads.
We encourage you to recommend threads that have are technical informative, If you are willing to write an article or thread that could help/educate our members.

One example of article that we have now published is "Removing Triumph sludge tube" by our Triumph forum moderator John Healy who published it first on his Vintage Bike magazine website and
allowed BritBike forum to re-publish it here on BritBike forum. Thank you John for that!

Now we are looking forward to read your replies with a link to your recommendation.

No you cannot start a thread here on this very forum, only reply to existing threads. I asked in the original post that you should reply and recommend existing threads.

Morgan, I have to agree with Dennis, there's nothing wrong with your English skills. (And I was an English lit. major in college!)

There have been so many seminal threads on these forums over the years, it's hard to narrow them down to a few. In addition to what's been mentioned though, another that comes to mind is John Healy's dissertation on engine break-in.

I was interested in one I read on BB but now can't find. It was on conversion of a 4 speed to five speed box for 650 Triumphs. Selfishly interested because I have to do this soon.

Morgan----I have no problems with the thread on technical articles--in fact I think it is a very good idea.
However in your revamp the "R.I.P." thread has been moved to the bottom.
I think its previous position at the top is more fitting in remembrance of Britbikers who are no longer with us.
Just a personal view of course---but a strong view.

Much better Morgan...RIP should always be at the top.

On another note, I think John Healy had articles on how to remove warp from carbie flanges and carbie bowls.

I know I have done my bowls and could do an article but really don't want to upset or infringe. Plus why reinvent the wheel?

Just trying to fix my Smith's Speedometer and I figured that the info would be here in "How to guides - Technical articles". I know there is a very detailed record of one guys experience dismantling and repairing one of these but I just can't seem to find it. If I ever do find it I will suggest that it be included here.
