Funny how things Pop into your head for no apparent reason sometimes......... What ever happened to the frequent poster Alex? A "rocket scientist" from the East coast that moved out West, Marin County (?) N.of San Fransico. I just recall he was another over qualified BSA enthusiast, and always had a good comment to share. Where'd he go..... ?

The boy's obviously been working too hard, unless he's been captured by some murderous wheat-germ cult or something ....

Hi guys. I'm still kickin' Yes, work and life have diverted my attention a bit from the site but I still have a look occasionally though I don't post much. With many house and yard projects, britbike projects are mostly on hiatus though I still have most of them. I did finally break down and get a Hinckley Bonneville for commuting and long rides since the Royal Star was starting to get a bit beat up. I still ride the Royal Star and occasionally the Golden Flash but racing is on pause for now. I'm getting better connected wiht the local vintage bike community and making new friends, though, so it's all good. Thanks for asking about me. Nice to know somebody cares.

Cheers!

Oh my God he's gotten to be an old coot in a flat cap and slippers, pottering among the geraniums with his cat, and brewing up a Horlick's for excitement of an evening ... cry

Just like the rest of us!! beerchug

Oh say it ain't so ...

I miss the days of living in NC and getting to hang out with Alex. Those were some of the better times in life! I remember him offering to run over my bent rim with his VW beetle in an attempt to straighten it, a story I related in a machining class recently. Hey Alex!
