Just so new readers won't be confused, the Goat Path is not some weird Buddhist/Baphomet fusion ... it's the Three State Mountain ride name for the stretch of NC194 between Matney and Valle Crucis .... !

Thanks for the pics and report, Lannis! I missed the ride this year for one good reason. Did (part of) the Mid Atlantic BDR on an R1200GS I recently acquired. 1400 miles over 6 days!
I’m glad everybody faired well at the TSMR and looking forward to next year’s ride with my son on his (new to him) Multistrada.
