Fay and I were just looking over that red BSA Gold Wing, she said "There's nothing BSA about that except the badges" but I soon pointed out that it's ALL BSA, with the addition of crash bars, trailer, bar-end signals .... you'd never see anything like that over here! I suppose I could do mine up like that, though!

Saw a lot of familiar faces, but missed Frans Hendriks? This being Holland and all, I thought he'd be right there, and especially dancing in the beer tent ... ?

Lannis.

Frans was there, if you look at Shuans post he was running the silly games, I think he has quitened down a bit now, he didn't ride his bike round the dance floor on the last night, although I beleive someone said he had done it on a previous night.

Found him, him with the 2006 Brimfield rally shirt. He looks like he MIGHT have calmed down a bit, we're all getting a bit older and wiser! Plus when you're one of the organizers, there's less time to plan and execute frivolity and raucous debauchery ... !

Thank you for posting so much nice pictures, Morgan.
During the Rally-week I wrote the weblog and posted pictures in the Facebook-group BSA International Rally 2017.

And about Frans Hendriks: he isn't chairman of the Dutch BSA OC anymore and he was not in Rally Committee, but he managed the Silly Games and did that very well. He isn't calm at all :-) but during the IR he burnt his leg on his exhaust. Maybe that kept hem from riding into the marquee?

Marca,
I enjoyed your photos on face book. It was nice to see what was happening at the Rally in "real time".
Thanks for posting all the wonderful photos.

Excellent photos, thanks for sharing. I noticed all the cardboard down to protect the grass from the oil that is dripping. Was that the owner's idea or the venue's? laughing Classic

Jay, looks like same mats that were used at the 2009 Netherland Rally at the Maastrict lineup
