Howdy!

Regarding the pre-unit gearbox kickstart pinion spring, sleeve and washer...in 1955 the assembly went from a combined spring and sleeve part number T488/28 with washer T505 to spring part number T1250 and sleeve part number T1338 while omitting
the washer.

I am trying to rationalize the arrangement and my questions are;
What is the difference between the early and later spring and sleeve, if any?
What are the dimensions of the T505 Washer and why was it needed (or no longer needed)?
