Is there any body out there? It's just me dropping by to say Hi, and Merry Christmas! Lots of water under the bridge since the last time I was here, but Barb has been in touch via facebook. Hope you are all doing well and continuing in the joy of motorcycling.

Hi Floyd!
Hello hello.
And Merry Christmas to yourself, sir.

Pretty quiet around these parts lately.
Cheers!

Same ol', same ol'. Still riding lots, but having been out of British iron and all, just hadn't come around. I'll be around often as I have missed all you hooligans.

A little off topic but I had a wood fishing boat back in the 70's. I think it was called a Wisham kit boat. Had a high bow and flat bottom for river and surf fishing. The title from when it was built in 1960 said it was 17'. By the time I got it it was down to 15 1/2' and I had the transom off and was ready to shorten another 6" of rot off the stern. The name painted on the side was "Leakin Lena"

Hey, when did this move to Seattle happen? I noticed a 3-month gap in postings but didn't want to be nosy. That's over with, though.

We were all involved with the move from North Carolina to California - the job change, the search for a house, even views from the house, the upgrading of the shop space.

What did you do, just teleport from California to Seattle into a pre-fab home with a shop?

Enquiring minds, you know.

Thanks for the initial inquiry Lannis, I was wondering the same thing.

On my return trip from Olympia on the Coast Starlight this Christmas I peered out the window from my coach seat as we crossed the bridge at San Pablo Bay.
Thought about Alex settled down in Crockett and now I find out he was where I was and not where I expected him to be!

Kids nowadays, always moving around.

Special assignment? Sabbatical? Top secret research project?
Washington has a lot of good things going on, like an abundance of water.

Uh oh Alex, now there's an implication that the Mob is after you and you've had to leave the state.

Better give us the straight story or we'll build on this and have you doing things you never thought possible .... ! You know how rumors get around ... !

It's probably something more like the Witness Protection program.
