Anyone used the EMGO ET substitute coils for the Lucas ET Ignition coils on and A65 Twin.
Is the original large capacitor required.
How is it wired into the stator and out to the points.

It is used exactly as you would with the stock Lucas ET coils.

I have them in my 65 Spitfire hornet and 66 Hornet. You don't need the capacitor. As John said they get wired in just like the originals.

While they do not use the large blue capacitor, the original condensers must be retained
