As I mentioned in a post earlier, we (my son PJ and I) got our 72 TR6 back on the road. Took the Hinckley and it out for a short ride this afternoon after working out an ignition bug. Got a couple of pics, one with my grandson Luke, hopefully the third generation to ride the old Tiger(someday). Scratching my head, trying to think, where have I seen that bridge before? There are so many similar scenes in Tennessee. Thanks

DavidP.If you have seen that bridge before you are an intrepid east Tn. explorer indeed. Either that or a real dedicated trout fisherman. It is in the tiny town of Watauga Tn. between Piney Flats and Elizabethtown. It is on the Watauga river about 5 miles from my house. My son, who was born here, didn't know about it when I led him down there to get some pictures. There is another one very similar in Bluff City that you are more likely to have seen. It is near Bristol Motor Speedway.

Bernie Well, I did grow up in Knoxville. Though I haven't been to that particular location. Most of my riding adventures were to the East and South of town. Bucolic scenes like that are plentiful. Substitute my Trident and my buddy's Norton (next to a pile of empty Bud cans) and you get the picture. Thanks for the 'memories.'

Well, there is hope for old-timers yet! The TR6 stands up very well in the company of her granddaughter! Both are very nice looking Triumphs! :bigt

Hope indeed! I actually operated the kick starter successfully with my recovering 'busted laig'! Yay!
