We had an excellent ride this year! Weather was just a bit chilly (note frost on seats in first and third pic) but no rain or fog like last year. No injuries, spills and I think just 2 bikes had to be trailered back. I was a little better this year breathing those britbike pre-emission fumes! In fact, I think I actually enjoyed the aroma! Is this good or bad?
Once again, Gordon out did himself and kept us all safe, thank you, Sir.
Hope to see all next year.

Fred....it was really good to have you join us again....I'd say you're a vet now. smile

Thank you for sharing your photos....I never take enough and don't have a good excuse blush

I did get a shot of Tom Sanders' Norton and will share it later (it's on the computer at home) but for the life of me I can't figure out how he made all 200 miles....the same miles everybody else did and his bike is STILL spotless confused

Thanks again for sharing.....sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see more photos.

YHS....Gordon

Friday I took off on a small solo mission to get a few pix... Cuz there was some stuff I wanted to shoot, and I knew it wasn't gonna happen Saturday...
To get the Linnville Viaduct isn't easy- can't park right there, and then, how to actually get a decent pic of it from the ground? Answer, LEAVE the ground! So I'm about 20-30 feet above the road, and getting a few really great shots of this famous marvel, when I hear a sound that didn't seem to match what I THOUGHT I was seeing. It took me half a second to realize it was none other than Mr Semper (Bill G) Gumby, flyin in from the Hinterland!

Looking at my pix later, I realized I had just captured his ride across the viaduct. Look at the right hand edge of the pic where the bridge disappears to (barely, sorta, kinda) see the famous Thunderwing, and Mr Bill in flight...

And oh BTW Bill...
Riding back to town with you was something I'll not soon forget. That moment was one of my weekend highlights!

image.jpg
Here's a shot I got from high up on a rock, overlooking the Linnville Viaduct- seems I had the same idea as most of the folks who take any of the usual awesome pix of this bridge--- find the vantage point that provides the best angle...

Here is one other shot of the viaduct. Unfortunately you lose a bit of resolution in the editing app I use.
I captured a group of Hawgs on the viaduct...

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. Kinda makes me miss NC - so many shades of green. The countryside here turned brown last week. Will probably stay that way until November.

Hey Guys,
I hate that we missed the opportunity to see and ride with you guys, but then again I wouldn't have got the chance to meet and spend time with Jim Rice and all the flat trackers in Calif, we just arrived home to Sweden.
Cheers
Morgan
