just posted>>> "It is a real honor to our entire team for Indian Motorcycle to be selected Marque of the year for AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days," said Menneto. "We know that enthusiasts of all brands come to this event, and the chance to not only celebrate where the Indian Motorcycle came from but to display and ride where we are heading is going to make a for a fantastic weekend." read whole post here: http://www.americanmotorcyclist.com..._Vintage_Motorcycle_Days_July_11-13.aspx

Will this event include the three dozen "other " brands that used the INDIAN name from 1954 to 2005?
I hope the INDIAN owners enjoy this event, but in my experience in several motorcycle clubs, INDIAN owners were the most arrogant, pig-headed members I had the misfortune to have to deal with.
Their attitude: "INDIANS are the BEST motorcycles ever made, that's why they aren't made anymore."
(If you can figure out this attitude, you are doing better than I ever could.)

Geesh, And I just thought Harley riders were "pig-headed"!!! Ha,ha! Catch the pun??? Ditto>>> Come visit the Britbike bunch! Most of us are so used to folks throwing rocks at our rides that we have no time to acknowledge such behavior! It is a joy to see any old ride being used and enjoyed!

Indian riders I met on that run above were very sociable, some of the Chiefs sounded very well tuned up. Certainly nice seeing old bikes being used. Some nice old Harleys were on the same run. ![[Linked Image]](https://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b213/markparker/IMG_9771_zpsfa7dac3e.jpg) Chief. ![[Linked Image]](https://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b213/markparker/IMG_9791_zps0ffdecda.jpg)
