Not technically a restoration, but a scratch build of a Triton.
Starting with a rough '66 Norton
"Featherbed" frame, add rough but complete '66 Triumph 650 engine, then add a complete front end from a Suzuki GT550 in order to get the 4 leading shoe brakes. Simmer and stir, slowly adding in all kinds of shiny bits, including some of the late Malcolm "BritBodger" Dixon's collection of M.A.P. go-fast stuff, and we get a pretty nifty '66 TriTonUki
Yeah, yeah, there are a million Tritons out there these days; right, but I kinda like this one. Something about the proportions seems "right" to me; nothing "sticking out" funny...
