For those who don't know Anna and her story, read all about it in the "Picture Request -Please Read" thread on this forum.

Anna’s 17th birthday is May 21.

Would you be so kind as to bop on down to the Walgreen’s or Halmark and get her a birthday card?

If you are from across the pond or down under – a card from overseas would be so appreciated!

Say you’re from Britbike too.

Address cards to:

Miss Anna Banana Mott
2059 McDaniels Bridge Road SW
Lilburn Ga 30047

Reply that you will do this on this forum too! Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to myself here...

You can count me in. Ever since I have learned of her situation I have said a prayer for her daily and may she get well soon.

David,

Will you be accumulating these cards to give to Anna all at once, maybe as a surprise, or do the cards just trickle in to Anna as they arrive in the mail?

I ask because, if you are getting the cards before she sees them, and accumulating them into one batch, I guess it's O.K. to mail the card right now. Otherwise, mailing early may mean that a few cards will spoil the surprise? How do you want it done?

Hi Ray.

Good question.

The address I posted is Anna's.

I would mail your card around the 15th, so it gets there before the 21st.

I think it would be more fun for Anna to have them dribble in.

Thank you and everyone so much!

BTW, Anna is in chemo right now. Session 5 of 6. After June, she will be done with this part of her journey.

Hey Mr Duke......with 13,885 views I can see no way you're the only one watching this thread. smile

I think about Ms Anna every day and how lucky I am to have had healthy kids.....I'll sign the card at the TSMR but the Gray's will send her an extra to her home.

You're a saint for doing all of this and the Motts are VERY LUCKY to have you as a friend.

David, +1 on what Gordon posted, and thanks for the answer. I have a card stamped and ready to go. I'll hold it till the 15th, and I hope she gets a bunch.

(Bump)

If you are sending Anna a birthday card as requested by David in Atlanta, today is the day to drop it into the mailbox.

How's that for an example of "Bump"?

Mailed ours yesterday, and it was purple! Snowed here Sunday on the north coast. Should have stayed in Florida. Hope Anna is overwhelmed by good wishes from all over the world. Cheers.

Anna has started to get our cards as well as some cards from the good folks over at advrider.com.

Melissa sent me a note today:

"Wow, Mr. D.

You've done it again.

Anna is freaked in the most awesome way about all the birfday cards that arrived here in the last couple days.

You (guys) ROCK."

Good job boys, you helped make Anna very happy on her special day! :bigt
