Ok folks
this is a test to see if there is an interest in BritBike.com
decals. Would you have interest to put a waterslide decal on on you bike and/or your helmet? You would need to put coat of varnish to protect the decal.

Or If you are not interested in a waterslide decal is it better with a self-adhesive sticker?

Speak up folks.

About the prices now set to $12 for large and $10 for small we have only produced 50 of each and offer 40 for sale.

Let me know I need your input.

Morgan, I just ordered one of your small waterslide decals for the back of my helmet. When I get it I'll report back.
Thanks, Billy

The back of my old helmet with a decal from ... I forgot from where... was it Lowbrow? It's a bit large.

I'll order one from the new batch for my new helmet.

I'll post the results. One on the helmet, one on the screen of the Hinkley Trophy.
The BSA still has a Lowbrow black one - like the white one on my old helmet.

Ger, I know they say there is no stupid question, but I have one anyway. What is the sticker to the left of the Union Jack on your windshield (left side in the picture, right side as you sit on the bike)?

Once more prove that Starboard and Portside should be introduced to replace left and right! laughing

When I teached (reefer technical subjects to grown ups) I used to say:
"the only stupid question is the question you are affraid to ask as you will never know the answer".

That flag is the flag of Friesland, Ray, a province in the north of my country.
I was born there, in one of the eleven towns (Harlingen at the sea side).
Like some other places in other countries Friesland has it's own language (Fries)
Fries is spoken primarly in the rural area's, less in the towns. I understand it but do not speak it very well.
And it has it's own flag:
The red hearts are leaves that float on the water.
The blue symbols the skies over Friesland.
The white symbols the reflection of white clouds in the water.
I also use the flag as avatar next to my BritBike posts.

The Frisian flag is the most beautiful flag in the world. It's older also than any other flag, and has inspired some other countries to use red white and blue also. grin

The picture is the BSA in a Frisian landscape.

Now I'm glad that I did ask. Thanks for the education, Ger. I apologize for not recognizing that it was the same as your avatar. That is a beautiful picture, too.

I can't help but notice that, on the BSA, the flag of Friesland is on the port side. laughing

Hey Morgan,

I want a sticker for my truck window, but I'd like a large one.
Didn't Lowbrow Customs handle stickers & merch in the past?

Tom, Anything is possible.. Lowbrows was 5 1/2" and the present decals is 4 3/4".

Here is the situation. waterslide decals sells very poorly
only a few ordered
the small stickers has slod 8ea so far.

Bottom line may be the price its pretty high but we made only a few so there you go.
Shipping was 6 dollars per order however i see that with the package i use I can change and i did a first down to 5 dollars and it looks like I can lower it to 4 dollars. This is because most only buy one or two.

If it turns out that people want the sticker type then i can make a bigger batch and lower the price if that helps.

Tell me how you want it folks. What price would you prefer to order say 5 or 10 stickers?
Do you want the small or larger? or nothing.. speak with me.

Tom if we make a large for the truck what is the prefered length?

Morgan, I think I bought a larger sticker in the color white before. It must have been 6, maybe 7 inches long? It may have been a transfer (rub-off) type sticker? If I recall correctly, stickers were also offered in sparkle colors like maybe blue or red?

I'd really put most any size sticker on my truck window just to represent the BritBike site. Not really a fan of the water slide decals tho. Unsure how well they'll hold up in the weather, over the long run? Couldn't really laquer-coat them on a window.

The white one on the back of my old helmet is 7 inches long (18 cm, a perfect size I was once told...).
It's black twin brother, on the screen of the BSA also.
These came from Lowbrow, and were later sold out.
I think I remember I had to peel a paper off the glue side, and a thin foil off the front side. Then the letters were not connected any longer.
