The thing..

Bought this bike new 35 years ago. Guess I liked it too much to part with it. Have changed a few things, but it is essentially the same.

Pretty bike. I'm starting to like the triples more and more ....

I would rather have questions that can't be answered than answers that can't be questioned.

Cheers Lannis - there is a lot to like...
Been a member of Triplesonline for many years - decided to join here due to our pending tour of America to participate in the 2014 BSA International.
More on that coming...
I have had quite a few British bikes, plus a few Europeans - but the triple has turned out to be the bike that pleased me the most. There is a quality to the sound that hooks - bit like a RR Merlin.
I will admit that being the sole owner of one has flavoured my judgement a lot.. smile
We have a few triples enthusiasts here in the South Island of New Zealand. There is an annual 'triples run'...

This year's run will be on the 28th of this month.
Now that should rupture a few eardrums...

Triples are great-sounding bikes, there's no doubt about that.

And they're smooth and torquey with lots of top-end pull.

I guess I've always been intimidated by having to keep "three of everything" tuned up - three ignition systems, three sets of valves, three carburetors .....
