I have to admit, I'm a Triumph guy, but do have a cub that's a relative of the c15.

A 5-7Ah is enough to run a T140, so I'd have no doubt that it would be fine for your bike.

The hardest thing is to ensure that it will physically fit inside your battery box.
That's why buying a battery locally is better - you can take it back and talk to the man behind the counter, who should have a book that identifies the hundreds of batteries that will fit the thousands of bikes.

You can use a dry type sealed battery from an alarm system if you want. Just check that it fits

And here i have a 2years warranty...

And gel batteries?
Any good?
Wich one is recomender for me?

I always use a traditional wet acid battery.

But I know that some people like the idea of a maintenance free gell/dry battery.
there is the advantage of the battery not spilling acid, but I tend to keep my bikes upright and don't overcharge them.

Hi there...

The battery i will order tomorow or next week...

Now im having a problem with wiring on the alternator...

I sent the alternator to restore and put it to 12v, but now the wiring is two cables, one white and the other is black...

On wiring diagram says GY and WG.

How can i know which is which??

If i connect the wrong sequence i can blow the rectifier??

The alternator outputs AC eg alternating so the wires can be in either way and it will work as the rectifer sorts it out, it was always 12V anyway as its the regulation not the alternator that sets the voltage.

Hi every one...

My bike is not ready yet...

But its almost done, as im doing everything and i never restaured a bike, its not so bad... (Ill put some photos)

I had a big accidente a few months ago (JAN) but nobody was hurt, thank God, was in automobile high speed, but needed as many euros as i can get for recover the car...

But now im back to BSA C15...

I need a condenser for my BSA C15 12v from 1959 but only can find from 65 onwards...
It fits inside the distribuitor...

On ebay shows these:

Does it fit inside??
Or i need to search on another place or condenser??

then it fits inside the distributor.

About the condenser...

2nd one, it bracket it needs the bracket with the hole on the end as this fixes it to the body of the distributor.

Looks the same as mine, but 100 times nicer.
Job nicely done.

You will find that the screw stud coming out of the condenser is a bit long and may ground on the case. I usually have to file them back a bit not to do this. There is also supposed to be an insulating flap that protects from grounding but you should still shorten the stud a bit. These replacement condensers are longer than the originals.

I dont have much time but i enjoy do it my self, it maybe go slow, but is better slow and very good then quick but reasonable or no good at all...

Ill order 2 of these condensers, one for spare...
