Hey guys..My RGS has never had a tach on it since I got it in 1970.After all these years I am hopefully going to fit one( I hope---Wicked Pricey!!) The drive is out the FRONT at the bottom timing side of course. One of the notched drive "tangs" is broken off..Can someone help me with the part number of the piece or pieces I will require and its proper name ?? My manuals do not give me that number including the RGS supplementary books(..its regular A10 anyways isnt it??) Thanks for your help :bigt:

I believe it's called a "spindle" as per the 1960 " A" Group Spares Book. Pg. 22, Crankcase. It's the drive off the end of the oil pump.

There are two numbers listed one for the A7, A7SS and A10 (67-1389) and another for the A10 SR (42-0156). There's a washer particular to the SR (42-0157) and a circlip (42-0159).

Tough to find in the book, really have to know where to look. Took me a few minutes to find it and I could be wrong.
