after putting a 71 motor in a 68 frame (i have done this on 3 bikes) i just had to pipe in and say these vibrate much less then older ones and really tame the earlier frames to be a smoother ride. much more pleasent to ride

If you miss the vibrate just put the A-50 crank in the A-65..don't put a cocktail glass on the seat..Bill

Who knows......
I have my motor built with an A50 crank balanced to 75% in a carefully built engine...A65 top end with 10:1 comp. It does get an annoying buzz at aprox 4500rpms (no tach), but other than that...it's a smooth runner. Shims in engine mounts where needed and a solid head steady.
