Just back from the post office and the box with the bottle and extras arrived safe and sound! It was cool to see the poster with some of the all time greatest BSA and britbike riders signaitures! Like touching history really. I have stored the box in a locked cabinet until tuesday or wednsday when I will ride the 441 south into the USA. Anyone who wants to meet me monday or tuesday for the ride to peace arch or further is welcome to call me. I have my digital camera working well and will take some scenic shots of Vancouver with the bottle front and centre. The journal is great too and I look forward to reading it. The poster of the great racers blew me away though!

Hi Steve,

Cool! If no one from the Bellingham area wants to carry it, I'll meet you at Peace Arch, OK? I'll give you a call on Sunday and/or Monday and see what's up, or if someone else wants to carry it, that's great. Maybe I could meet them in Bellingham or Mount Vernon and continue the trip south. Something.

Hehe--it's on the move now, isn't it! Great!

Howdy guys, well first day this week the rain stops I'm going to head south. I think I need someone's cell phone number or home number if they work from home so I can ride it to the nearest point to Blaine. The bike is A-1 so I'd better do it and hope it does'nt realize it is on an important trip and bug out. LOL!I could do maybe 40 miles on the I-5 before I get sick of tractor trailer hub viewing so if that helps get me closer to Barb;s it will be ok. Other than that I can eat about 4 hours at Burger King and wait in Blaine or if there is a Red Lobster about 5 hours should suffice. Enough time for a rider or car to be dispatched. shocked ) lLove those BIG american servings! I'll be travelling light since the bottle is more a small backpack load with the extras I hope no one minds carrying the 441 cases I signed. Kidding....anyone have a good rear wheel they want to bring me is welcome and I'll bring a bunch of gaskets. Only on a BSA could you cross the border with gaskets as the old myth of leaking brits makes them a practical extra for a day ride right?.
