Meet Wotan

'72 T150V
Another Craig's List acquisition. The ad said, "Ride it home." I don't think so, there were 4V coils under the seat but it still had points. crazy
When I got it home I put some proper coils on it, set the points and fired it up. Then I bought the Tri Spark.
The first time I rode it in the mountains it still had the comical front brake. Totally inadequate for the heavy triple, I swapped it for the disc front end on my A65.
The petrol tank was painted with rattle can lacquer, so I added a couple of coats from an old can I had.
This year I found a tank with the correct colors. After having the pin stripes redone it looks pretty darn good, for 50 year old paint.

Knowledge speaks. Wisdom listens.

Now, I need to get crackin' on my Trident and get it road-ready. Thanks for the motivation.

Didn't know you had a Trident, Jon.
What year and if possible---maybe a photo?

Richard,

It is a 1974 model that I purchased from BritBike member "larrymondello" in late 2017.

Hi Jon--- the photo is not cooperating.
Probably due to my total lack of computer skills!

Hi Richard,

I will post the pics of it in a new post here in the gallery, so as not to hijack David's thread.
