1971 BSA lightning

my old girl, its the same age as me.
you may notice two different plates on her, the blue one is the original from california. she has been imported to new zealand about 10 years ago by the previous owner and was in a sorry state when i got it.

Thank`s `rian` for comment. As I see Your bike is made with good taste, too. That smaller tank is not for long trips, I go 120 - 150 km and then stay to gasstation, but somehow it looks (nowdays) nice to my eyes. One what I plan to do is throw away that original(?) handlebar and go to use as Your´s, what´s from?
