I wanted to see if there was any interest in my 1966 BSA Spitfire "Special." The motor is a professionally rebuilt (with receipts Classic Cycles Frenchtown NJ) BSA Spitfire bottom end with a thunderbolt top end in a 650 frame. Stock rake, rear loop modified slightly. Right now I've been riding the bike off road, but I daily'd this BSA on the street for the last three years with running lights etc., which can all be added back. She has proven herself road worthy, and believe it or not has days with give or take 200 miles on her. The other bits are a Ceriani Front End, Bates Desert Seat, hornet pipes, and lightning tank. Clean transferable registration in my name. Unsure exactly of how many miles I've put on the bike after putting her together, but my guess is less than 5,000. Would trade for non OIF Triumph, especially something set up for flat track. Open to reasonable cash offers.
*Would also part with the gas tank for $300, or trade for a runnable hornet tank in any cosmetic condition, but it must be runnable.
