A bright, sunny, COLD morning here, the dog doesn't even want to go outside.

Blackeyed peas and fat pork are going on the back of the stove to simmer all day ... it's good luck they say on New Year's Day. Don't know about that, but it's good eating!

Lannis

I stopped believing for a little while this morning. Journey is really going to be upset.

Just got my first big bright colorful garden and seed catalog of 2018.

Can Spring be far behind?

I think Spring sprung in Laredo.

We'll be back in the 50s this week, probably in the 90s by the end of the month...
