Hi again, I have the forks completely disassembled and found the steering head bearings and races are worn and the fork seals also need replacement. Can the roller bearings be replaced with taper bearings, if so, where can I get them ? Also where can I get the fork seals? I searched the net but found seals for bikes later than 1970 only. Thanks in advance, Art

You can get those at any reputable Triumph or BSA parts house.

I have not been able to find any tapered bearing sets and had to resort to the old ball bearing and race method. Besides all of the best parts guys, Raber"s, Baxter, Hutchinson etc, I even went to a specialty place to no avail. My races were ok, and the ball bearings are easily had. Would suggest you try the suppliers I listed for races. Fork seals are available everywhere.

Only place I know of to get taper roller head bearings for a B25/TR25W/B44 is SRM Engineering. These are not "off the shelf" dimension bearings.
