Anyone know if the tach drive for the B44/B25 is a 4:1? If not, what is it?
Thanks

Its 4 to 1, though I have seen the early tach head on eBay described as a 3 to 1 oddly, but Rupert Ratio says 4 to 1 which is enough for me.

Really? That's a bit surprising, as to the best of my recollection all BSA tachs are 3:1 ratio, and all Triumph tachs are 4:1. I just bought a tach drive for a 441, haven't installed it yet, and, apparently a good thing, haven't bought a tach for it yet. If anyone has personal knowledge on this, I hope they post...Rupert has made a mistake or two, wonder if this may be one? Hate to find out the hard way if it is or isn't....

The optional tach was the 3003/01, 4:1 by the Smiths references.

I have found Rupert pretty straight in his advice but Roy Bacon is suspect.
