There are many around. If I needed to ride the bike, I would but one from India. If it stood up well I would keep it otherwise I would use it while I hunted for an original

I bought an A65 lever from them, quality but spendy, " Quality remains long after price has been forgotten".

Original, used ones appear frequently on eBay. Some need re-plating, some not. If one shows wear (chrome worn) you can bet it's original BSA. Check prices, and bid on one.

I have bought several kick start levers from various UK based eBay sellers for my B44, A65 and Norton Commando. No doubt these levers were manufactured in India but I dont see any major problem with them/ The only issue I have had was with the cotter pin drilling on the A65 version which meant the lever was angled a few degrees forward from the intended resting location. Apart from that, all have had good chrome and in use have not bent at all so I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if needed to. Unfortunately I don't have the eBay seller details available, so if you do purchase one, look for a UK seller with good feedback.
