I have a big box of unused cables, mostly unmarked. I usually go through them trying to match to one I have in hand, but there are many that I don't have a clue as to fitment. I see several throttle / choke cables with AMAL type ends at carb, but with a ball nipple at handlebar end? There are also some with a wide drum- type nipple at throttle end, (much wider than std. BSA/ Triumph 6x6 mm.) Anyone familiar with these types? Otherwise I guess I'll just keep cutting and soldering to make up as I need. So far I've only sacrificed the extra long ones, some like a foot longer- ape hangers!

Thanks for any help, Dave.

I've had those ball type ends fit into a cutout in a drum end for a clutch or brake lever
