Very nice, good running bike. I am the third owner, motor has never been apart, nuts and bolts are unmolested. Is mostly original, has the complete oddball exhaust and bash plate. Tank has a few dents and someone has previous stripped the paint. Tank has a weld repair on the seam underneath, no leak. Speedo was rebuilt by 2nd owner, has recently quit. I traced the fault to the gear drive at the rear wheel. Weeps oil from the push rod tubes as most do. Original rims have a bit of rust bubbling. Straight, original handlebars,,,on a dirt bike!!! I truly love riding this bike but I have too many for my budget so it must go. $4800 and not a penny less. I could meet part way for deliver for my actual gas. I can email images to an interested party, someone who calls me. bob wark 740-538-4746

More bikes and projects than you can shake a stick at but they should be done in two shakes of a lamb's tail.

'semi rare" ---about 1900 made in the two years 1973 and 74.
What proportion have survived would you say?
IMHO probably less a % than a road bike as they were/are road and trail bikes.
Also IMHO one of the most pleasing bikes to own.
Can cruise at 55-560 mph but can also trickle along at walking pace in first gear with the clutch engaged.
Mine are two of the last bikes I would sell.
Best of luck with the sale--and better luck for the buyer!

And, with an alloy fuel tank, modern fuels don't take the rust toll on the TR5T tanks like on most other tanks smile

That would be one reason I wouldn't mind having one too.

Forgot to mention I have put a 47 tooth rear sprocket on the bike. Makes a world of difference on the street or on gravel roads. The bike is so light it easily pulls the slightly taller gear.
