I have no ties to this, although currently have a similar one, but looks like a pretty nice Cub with slow bidding this time of year.

Just passing it along.

I'd have to think the current price reflects the non-stock parts that are hanging on this little Cub. The tank looks nice but missing correct fenders, seat and lights.

That was my max bid at the last second - I lost out on a Greeves Ranger a few months ago, and was trying to win this one while scoring a deal at the same time. Perhaps next time - thanks for the auction listing Fred!

So, Geoff....you missed out on this one sounds like??

I figured it would go for around $2500-$3000. The end of December is a tough time to sell a bike usually.

The seat and fenders/lights are fairly easy fixes, and it was original paint, plus the very late Cubs are the preferred ones.

I would have been tempted to jump in on the auction too if I didn't have a similar '64 Cub already, and four 500cc bikes to tinker with smile

Sounds like Geoff was the winning bidder...if so, congrats. I like the bike just about as is with the exception being the seat, which I would swap out for an original seat cover in black with the gray top.

I lost at the last second, it didn't take my final bid. I am addicted to Moto Giro and am on the lookout for another bike to ride, the courses have a lot of unpaved sections that make me want to have something a tad bit more appropriate.
