Hi All, trying to identify this headlamp for a friend & my books are not near at the moment. The holes for the mounting bolts are square to accept a tinnermans nut, rather than they typical Lucas welded in nut. Would that feature make it a Wipac unit, or did Lucas also use the snap in square nut holders? This came in with a cashe of Ariel & Matchless stuff with a smattering of misc other brit parts.

Thank you!

You don't say what diam this is - important distinguishing feature.

Speaking of the NOC Forum, there is a discussion there very recently about the same subject re Jubilee headlamps.
With the usual non-consensus....

OK, no winners smile It ends up being a Wipac part.

Without a diameter, we are none the wiser ?
A year and model application would be useful too...

My headlamp has wipac written on the glass, rather a giveaway.

No year, no model, no brand. Giveaway was the square mounting holes.
