Locating the coils ahead of the oil tank allowed a stock Trident wiring harness to be used

Believe it or not, even an original ignition switch/key

Should have running in a day or two!

I suppose it could. I have one for my triton, nice piece of work, but heavy.

Sure would be nice if it were a Fontana but that would cost more than what the entire bike is worth...

Not really Dana, nice brakes for not daft money in the link below. I think braking can be overlooked in building a special, the British industry certainly overlooked braking, they made bikes that were fast, handled well, but i cannot think of any British bike that was really well braked.

"...braking can be overlooked in building a special". haha good one.

And really an original magnesium Fontana goes for a lot but if 2K knicker is not much for a repo wish I had your bank account! Anyway I like the replica Ceriani 230 at 790 quid ,,,what cost to ship to Oregon USA

What price a gt550/750 front drum though ? I bought one years ago and it was not cheap, have no idea what they go for now. Probably the same or more than the ceriani.

My project began some years ago (too long) and got it off a certain well known auction site (which I won;t name on behalf of saving expletives deleted for another time) for low smackaroonies. --- well they used to be... 500 then is like 100000000000000000000K USD now. But fleabay does occasionally come in handy I dare say. BTW look at the Grimeca 4LS bon from ? ... I saw one of those go on eBay for more than your repo Fontana. Just saying. Are we OT yet? Or just OTT.
