Hi Guys
I would like to introduce my self as a new member. My name as you can probably gather from my profile is Bryan

I am in need of some information regarding an A65 project which I am helping out with.

The bike in question is a A65 Lightning Clubman with QD crinkle hub without speedo drive. This arrangement has the spindle 68-6068 which is 11/16" diameter. The spacers I have an issue with are the missing 68-6057 and 68-6070 which go either side of cotton reel spacer 67-6028.

These 2 spacers are proving difficult to locate so we intend to have them made, but information sourced from internet is sketchy.

The sizes I have found are - 68-6057 1 1/8" o/d x 7/8" i/d x 7/16" thk, 68-6070 1 1/8" o/d x 7/8" i/d x 1/2" thk

The issue I have is the bore size. The spindle is 11/16" diameter so the 7/8" diameter spacer would have a massive .2" clearance. A bit excessive !!

Do these spacers locate on something which we are missing? Is there a reason for the clearance ?

Any advice / help would be greatly appreciated, and would help progress this project

I have a link to a diagram of the assembley

Thanks in advance
Bryan

The spacer 68-6057 fits over the reduced end of the crush tube 67-6027

Aw right. That makes more sense. Thanks for the swift response Andy

Am I right in thinking the spacer 68-6070 fits inboard of the swing arm fork
