Is there any way to identify which variant of T120C you have by the engine numbers, or is there other documentation required to find that out? Thanks.

You need the despatch records which will give the extra details, there is a website on the T120TT and the guy who runs it has the records you need.

Reading between the lines, I'm guessing that you want to know if your 65 is the Scrambler or the TT variant. The engine numbers alone will not give you that information, the stamps were the same for both variants. The VMCC dating service will probably not give you enough information to make that determination. And if asked straight out if your bike is a TT or Scrambler, they will not give you the answer... they are a essentially a dating service, and leave discovery and interpretation of the clues up to you.

Charles, owner of the site above referenced by Kommando, would be the best source for making that determination if you're basing it on factory records.

And the reason he wants photos of the stamps is to check they are genuine factory stamps and not 'the right numbers but forged'.

Don't know about VMCC, but when I had a bike "authenticated' by BSAOC they had me send an actual pencil rubbing of the number stamp, same reason.

I've used charles 2 times now. Its excellent information to identify T120c bikes

The formula for how many motorcycles to own is:
n+1=n
n = the number of motorcycles you currently own.
