Has anyone else noticed the removal of the "Ask the Seller a Question" item from the eBay sites?

WHY? Were we asking questions the sellers didn't want to answer?
Why buy if we can't ask for more information?

Look in the "Seller Information Box" on the right side of the page and there is a "Contact Seller" link.

Sorry, Jon, but I can't find any such "seller information box" on any of the three items I just checked on eBay,
and I scanned each of them line-by-line.

What do you see that I don't?

Near the top right side of EVERY item for sale on eBay is a box with seller's basic info, including "contact seller" hyperlink.

Irish Swede,

The seller's name is a hyperlink. Click it and more links will appear. One of those will be the "contact" link. Click that and you will be prompted to log in if you are not already. Follow the prompts and you will get there.

Gentlemen, thanks to all of you for your help. I "get it" now, and have now used it.

(The eBay system was SO much easier and less confusing a month ago, with it's former "Ask the seller a question" line.)

It wasn't just easier it was better when you could see other peoples questions and answers.
Sometimes you could learn something from those by reading between the lines.

The questions and and answers being shown was the seller's choice..... I buy on eBay all the time and do sell some stuff...I also was briefly lost looking for "Ask the Seller".. Despite the occasional issues, I do like to buy on eBay where I can see dozens of vendors and individuals selling and do comparisons..It has really made putting together an older bike less frustrating..

Well there you go, you live and learn, I thought the questions were a standard feature.

Yes, anyone can ask all the questions they want, but the seller has the option to:

A: not answer

B: answer in private

or

C: answer with both question and answer appearing at the bottom of the listing.
