Today it's been a couple tins of Fracture imperial IPA. 9.1 percent so they're great sippers. Managed to get all the BSA's wiring off the bike, and started sizing wiring to build a new loom. Will save that for a non drinking day however! Now, I'm going to sit back and enjoy the rest of the day!! Cheers!!

Gotta agree with the Troags Perpetual IPA Wade. Tried some on my way to Richmond Va last week when i stopped to buy some Yeunglings & the clerk said forget that [censored] & try this. Tried to buy some to take back to Canada but too late to get any.

It's our Grape and Wine festival currently going on, and today is parade day! So up at 5, glass of wine (this is a once a year thing believe me), and about to start preparing a big fry up breaky. Parade starts at 11, but this has been a family tradition on this day for the best part of 30 years! Today's going to be a long day!!! But will be fun to spend it with family and friends!!

Cheers!

Thanks Mike! Yeah it's getting rather close to nap time. We've been given great weather the past week, and today is nearly 100 degrees, and quite humid! Lots of water being drunk as much as wine!

Wade- free always tastes better!

Last night was given a sip of a drink I normally wouldn't have. It was one shot of Raspberry Sourpuss, one shot of Blue Curaco, and topped up with sprite. Was sweet as hell, and one would give me gut rot, but they're rather dangerous. Tasted like Kool aid.

Will stick with me beers thanks!

One of the bad things about being old
is remembering how good Root Beer and Colas used to be
today these things are awful, with a few exceptions

Last night is was a Pilsner Urquell while I ran the cordwood processor. Nice flavor without the heavy hoppy after taste.

Root beer is something I've wanted to brew myself for ever. The hard part is finding the ingredients locally to do it!!!

I had a German style brown ale this week from a micro-brew in the works. It was exceptional. Got a couple of more to try.

Guy I work with and 2 of his friends are brewing beer with the plan to open a micro brewery. I have been the recipient of beer from their efforts for an opinion. These guys keep getting better and better results. I was blown away with the German brown. They have a single malt, single hop IPA that was impressive in V1.0, waiting for V2.0 to ferment.

They entered their first competition this summer with their porter and stout and got top 5 finishes with both. I have examples of the latest version which Justin says is better than the version that got awards. Looking forward to trying them.

Life is too short to drink cheap, bad beer.

Modus Operandi , "Former Tenant" red IPA ! It's expensive but you only need one ( 7.8 % & 500 ml. ) & once tasted, never forgotten ; ) Brewed on Sydney's Northern beaches https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/modus-operandi-former-tenant/279262/

Last night I was at a friends microbrewery, and had an amazing plum stout. It was honestly one of those holy crap moments. Chocolate and dark fruit are just the two best things ever.

The tanned gland from the gland down under?

Quite possibly the best name ever.

I am a huge IPA guy. Too bad we couldn't start a group to ship beers around! Not sure if customs would approve though!!

I love Old Soeckled Hen. Do any of the British lads know of a beer called Old Jock? I had a bottle of it years ago, and would love to see if they're still as delicious as I remember them!
