The feed pipe union at the crankcase feeding the pump leaks, I would imagine a common problem , thread in case is worn to affixe through bolt ,Is there a cure without striping and machining case face and retapping banjo bolt thread. Cheers , Jon

Normal solution would be to use PTFE tape wound onto the banjo thread, and Dowty seals on the banjo union, and try not to overtighten.
But DO be careful not to block oil feed with the tape! ... Bear in mind that this oil feed is the lifeblood of your engine.
