I've blocked off the chain oiler on my Victor and I wonder if it's necessary to drill a tiny hole in the inspection cap to ventilate?
This might be a case of me thinking too much, but I'm curious.

Should have mentioned that mine is a '67 and it has only one cap, over the clutch adjuster.
