Hello Everyone, i have been looking at a 1970 BSA A65L on eBay and i might be having a senior moment but the frame looks well bent to me which if it is, the forks are going to be bent as well. the rail on the cradle on the l/h side looks to be flattened. its one of the funny 1970 A65L'S as it has the A65LA ---------Y numbers on it but that's ok as BSA did do this to a batch of A65'S from 1970 probably to shore up the numbers on the 1967 ones when they got awarded the queens award for export for that year. here is the link to the bike on eBay. http://www.eBay.com/itm/1970-BSA-A65-/112442001705?hash=item1a2e10c929:g:rs8AAOSwDrNZQEfJ&vxp=mtr please have a look and tell me what you think. i have asked the seller about the bike and it will be interesting to see what he has to say about the bike. i wouldn't mind a 1970 BSA A65 as they have some good improvements in them. i look forward to your replies. cheers. billy.

Looks bent to me , almost as if the front mounts wouldnt let a bolt through. Apart from that, some useable stuff there, frames can be straightened out. Theres a definite squeeze thing going on below the front LHS motor mount,
