I have a valanced rear fender off of a 1965 A65LR - anyone know if it would fit a 1969 BSA A65L? I am aware of the tail light hole differences - what do you all think?

I don't know why but I think it's a terrible idea. Why would you want to have one of these things ? I think you should get rid of it. Let me know if you need help.

I am with Tom, let him properly dispose of it for you.....

There is considerable difference in assorted brackets. And for whatever reason, I seem to remember something about the hole spacing on the rear frame loops was slightly wider than the later unit twins. I got into that issue trying to fit a later blade type fender to a LR frame, but blade type fender from a 65 west coast LR slipped right into place. But a dead blow hammer could likely correct that fit problem when applied to the right spot on the frame loops......

If it was me, I would get the correct tail light fairing. It just looks right on the valanced fender. I wouldn't modify the fender to fit the butt ugly 69 tail light. But that is just me.

Life is too short to drink cheap, bad beer.
