Royal Berkshire.
So after a long winter here on the Barge, Tappet is getting restless. So I have assured him that this very week we shall once again be hitting the road, and heading across the channel and bound for Europe. So once we arrive at the John Bull Rally, and have the canvas hotel all set, and a glass of ale in my hand, I shall once again offer Kent Shaun the honour of having Tappet for the summer, in the hope he will take him to the BSA international, and to hand him over to Morgan, as Tappet fancies seeing the Britbike museum, and spending the winter with the Vikings.
But here's the thing, Tappet has always wanted to cross the USA, so who will be at the BSA international in 2018 who can take Tappet back to the USA? But, and this is a really big but, Tappet needs to be back here in the UK for 2021, as he is going to the Moto Guzzi Centenary, unless of course one of you American types is also going to this gathering down in Italy, if so you can bring Tappet with you. Easy. bigt

That should of course have been 2021, but I am tired, too much work.

Trying to keep up with Tappet would wear anyone out, from what I hear. His experiences in Bangkok probably made him a difficult companion to stay with ... !

OK, I admit it, I'm addicted to brake fluid.

But I can stop any time I want.

Kev,
Lad. What bike will you ride to the John Bull Rally, brother?
Inquiring minds want to know!

And oh btw we look forward to reading all about, & seeing many photos from not only the John Bull Rally, but Tappets Travels this summer.
Cheers my man!

Kev lad, young Tappet sure likes to live dangerously... shocked

Does he REALLY want to go to Sweden after his experience with them Lady Boys in Bang Cock...( that was the name of the place I believe)... facepalm

I've seen a documentary about Sweden, seems they all go into a sauna, naked as a jail bird. Then run into an ice cold lake, THEN hit one another with some branches from the nearest tree...

And going to American too, now THAT is a strange place lad, after the Prohibition Tappet will find it hard to get a Whisky there, and you know how he loves a Whisky lad. Also, I think you'll find the BSA International in 2018 is being held in Australia, I'll tell you about them Australians we met in New Zealand, fair done put me off Australia I can tell ya... frown

But if that's his wish, then that's my command, I'll be doing the Summer camp in deepest darkest French France, when he's in Aus. Riding Albert all the way, well, that's my plan... bigt

In the meantime, I've got some Romanian Moonshine for Tappet to sample, he can have a drop or three this very Friday, in a foreign field Canadalaan Passendale around Tiffin. If he likes it, there will be more at the BSA International in Holland.... grin

JubeePrince lad, COURSE there will be photos lad....Jeez...Need you remind ME & Kev lad... shocked

Tom Bro Dude, what bike...???

Well lad, let's look at the evidence, its a British and Old bike rally run by the Belgium BSAOC. So naturally Kev being Kev, he'll turn up on a MODERN Non Britbike... clap

If I told everybody what I was riding, there would be no excitement waiting on the yarn to come!
now it might be one of the bikes listed below, but then it just might be...

Well Tappet is excited as he ever gets to be back on the road again, so he thought it only right to celebrate with a nice Bourbon...

Kev lad, just pondering here, I'm planning on having lunch in Ypres, wonder if Tappet would like to eat Horse stew. That's a particular favourite of the Hairy Mong, and I love it was well. Although as you know, when in Belgium, I USUALLY have me a bucket full of Mussels. But I'm thinking Horse on the way out, mussels on the return... bigt
