I'm needing the left side front foot peg/rest for my 1950 Dominator model 7. I have the right side. Don't know what years would interchange. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Steve

Norton footrest parts are all roughly similar, - its only a matter of finding something of suitable length that puts your feet somewhere comfortable. Sorry don't know of any sources, nor have any spares. Stuff appears on fleabay all the time - but expect to have to file the spline bits back to sharp and pointy, they are almost always rather beaten up.
Some NOS military bits may be adaptable ?

P.S. This new forum version on my old puter is painfully slow at showing typed text here, this is an improvement ??

Norvil have them in their parts catalogue as part # A2699A.

Razor--thanks for info. I went to Norvil site and saw that.. I also need the rod that connects both footrests along with both nuts for this rod. I didn't see the rod/nuts on Norvil site unless I over looked it.. Thanks for you help...Steve

It's only straight rod not hard to make my Dom is complete so I can't measure it but I have a friend with one in parts if you want I can get the dimensions

Razor--that would be great. isn't there a dome nut on one end and a regular nut on other?

That was a good link for the footpegs.

The footpeg rod is a shade less than 11".
You might want to measure your setup before making it though, as soon as any replica or unmatched parts are involved,
the required length may vary - and its easy enough to shorten stuff, but if its too short its start over time again.

One end is a domed nut - but you can always use a std hex nut until one appears...!!

Rohan--thanks for you input.. Like they say, measure twice, cut once. I think I will check into all thread rod. Probably heat treated or s/s for strength..

The rod is 7/16 dia 11 and 5/8 inch long with 1 inch
Of thread each end I tapped mine unf as those dome nuts are more readily available here than cei if you go ss nuts and shaft put some anti
Seize on the threads
