I love that goofy old stuff, like an English version of The Wild One. "Hey, who wants to drag for beers?" Shocking stuff! And you know that not one of those boys got over 35 MPH ... none of them had any eye protection, their goggles (if they had them) were up on their helmet, and they didn't even have any tears running back in the wind. That's just not possible.

And the winner gets "The favors of the young lady for a weekend". I know what "favors" used to be a euphemism for; I'm surprised that 15 of them didn't crash trying to win THAT prize .... !!

They didn't realize that while they were out showing off, a group "Mods'" showed up and carried off the prize.

They were going slow to give the camera man a chance. Believe me those guys were as mad as you like. Last year 3 of us old Rockers met up at Donnington race track . I had a 600 CBRR flat out screaming its nuts off and the other 2 mad buggers took up a battle from 50 years back and went past me with at least another 50mph (Fireblades) .No idea what speed as these are race moded and no speedo!. I was having enough problems with upsidedown and wrong foot brakes /gears and a front brake that could lockup with one finger. Not used to seeing 14000 revs up either. And no ,I did not get my knee down!!.
