Firstly apologies, we can't go ahead with the camping weekend after the Italian Inter.

However we are going ahead with a camping weekend the weekend BEFORE the Italian event.

Location is near Masseret 19510, Correze, Limousin in Central France. For those coming from distance we are 5 mins from exit 43 of the A20 autoroute.

Rally will be a simple affair as it will be held at my farm which is not a campsite. Plenty of space will be made available for camping but please note that toilet and shower facilities are in the two houses at the farm and so not the same as a proper camp site.

Friday evening, there will be a BBQ set up for you to cook on and what we call a "casse croute" which basically means breaking bread with each other and sharing food.

Saturday morning, bike line up to show off your machine and admire each other's bikes. Saturday afternoon ride out. Saturday evening, meal and local rock and blues band.

Sunday, bye bye but folk welcome to loiter if they wish if they are heading off for Italy at a slow pace. There is also a local American and classic vehicle gathering locally which might be intersting.

Reservation will be available shortly. Simple breakfasts will be available.

Stephen

wow andy, i cant be sure if i need a group of rock for the car park, perhaps you could let me know. assuming we can get some diesel in france where exactly should we be heading for?. what is the protocol re: booking in, in advance? do we need to reserve several gallon of red wine or is there sufficient stock available in the area?
pat.

Wasn't aware of any BSAs that run on Diesel!!

As far as the protocol is concerned, we need nuumbers in advance for the catering. I won't expect you to send dosh in advance as it is too complicated just a firm commitment a week before the rally.

Fuel situation is a worry. All I know is that there are no problems in the area in which the rally is being held. The Rally location is just off the A20 motorway near Junction 43, halway between Limoges and Brive. Google "Masseret" which is the nearest village. You can call if you want more details. 0033 555 98 16 91

Cheers

yes, we are expecting you. Have a good trip. I am sure Sylvie has told you to avoid using the A10 between Paris and Orleans. It is still closed just north of Orleans.

See you on Friday

Hi Dunney. Thanks for the extended hospitality. Tom and I moved on to Bormio and stormed the Stelvio pass. What a ride, That was the highlight of my trip. We are looking forward to the Summer camp in 2 years time. It was good to meet up with expat old friends, hope the french take a bigger part in 2 years time. The Italian rally was pretty good too. Pat A.

Glad you had a good time Pat and that the Italian rally was also a success. I can see I still need to carry on with my diet.

Bestest

Tom recovers from the rigours of riding a honda. any more should be on an international rally thread.
