Has anyone else noticed there is no 'Post a picture of your Norton' here?
I guess someone needs to start one, and if we get a few more pix
maybe Dave will lock it to the top of the page.

My 72 Combat Roadster. around 6400 original miles
I plan to put MUCH more miles on it than that

My Norton Dominator 99 from 1957, which I bought in 1966 and sold in 1970. I bought it back in 2014, in parts and restored it to almost new.

It has been sleeping in boxes for 43 years and it has 10.500 km's behind it's wheels.
Needless to say that it handles like a charm and is a big joy to ride.

Nice bikes.
Those peashooters look rather low set, how has that been done ?

70 roadster

i was originally disgusted with the stock metallic purple paint, but i confess that over time it has somehow grown to look almost reasonable.

still missing some stuff-- center stand, stock passenger pegs, fork lock, little things.

but it handles dead neutral, no effort at all bending it through the corners. makes my old T120 seem like a truck, although the rototiller handlebars may have some responsibility for that.

a ball to ride, and not too heavy to push when i run out of gas.

Here's a pic ofmy Commando that I owned for the last 40 years, still in original factory paint, although the paintwork looks better on the picture than it actually is. Love this bike.

Nice bike.
I had some j*p*n*s* candy apple red painted bits, where the red had faded quite noticeably. A very light mist spray of one of these red translucent rattle cans really revived it, and it polished up sorta nicely. It wasn't entirely original paint then of course, but if its getting too far gone to be acceptable....
May not be entirely petrol proof though. !

This is my 1973 Norton Commando 850 with the locking Corbin seat. Not much done to her except the addition of a stainless steel braided front brake line since my purchase. Which helped some but still a bit scary when stopping from high speeds. The tank is I think the 750 design but was told it was ordered as such because the previous owner preferred the style of the 750 tank v.s 850. She doesn't look original to that of 1973 but neither do I. LOL

1966 Atlas...Bought 2 of these about a year ago and so far have this one together and running...Original chrome on all parts except fenders...Original paint on frame..Lot of fun after sorting out lots of issues...

1974 Commando..Bought about 4 years ago..It was a local one owner with 5700 miles..Did a few upgrades and use it as a daily rider...Still has all original paint..

For about 45 years I've been a Triumph guy, but I saw this advertised locally and had to have it.

As advertised. A not too bad looking non-runner.

The fuel tank was half full water and old gas, the carbs were packed solid with powdered rust, the clutch drive cush rubbers were disintegrated slime, it needed a new primary chain, fork seals and bushes, brake shoes and all new cables. Since cleaning it up and replacing all the bits and pieces, it has been running like a top.

It still needs a proper Atlas kickstart lever however as the current one is from a Commando.
