Hope someone can help here or point me in the right direction. I have a friend who wants to sell '67 Norton P11 scrambler and asked me to come up with an as-is price range. I know there are a lot of variables but just looking for a ballpark figure. Here goes: Stock except for later Commando disc brake front end, has Lucas mag instead of coils and points(mag very weak, needs work)non-stock tail light assy. On the last ride tranny? started making noise and eventually stuck in 3rd gear, needs work. Bike in general is about a 6 out of 10. What do you think? I know but like I said, rough idea of value...Thanks, Mark

Well your buddy has the advantage of many before him buiding these bikes to way better than new in the last five years or so. It's kind of making people more interested than they would have been 10 years ago. I think you would see 4000- 6000 for one with good sheet metal. Transmisions need going thru anyway aye. norbsa

Hi Mark:
There is currently a '69 P11A Ranger for sale on Brad's site (bradsbikes.net) and he's asking $6500 firm. But it looks pretty nice and it appears as though quite a lot of dough has been spent on it. Have a look at it, and judge it against your friend's.
Hope that helps a bit.
Regards.
-Terry

Thanks Norbsa & Terry, Never heard of Bradsbikes, another source to get me in trouble. Very nice looking Ranger, I don't know if the P11 scrambler brings a higher asking price then Ranger but I'm guessing this bike may fall in the $4500.00 area as is. Thanks guys, Mark
