Patrick Godet has been testing the Grey Flash engine in one of his Egli Frames for quite a while. He has now managed to install the engine in his own replica of the original Grey Flash chassis. Here are some Photos. The racing photos are of rider Bruno Leroy racing the bike recently at Spa Francorchamp.

Middle East,
Saw this duo last weekend at Cadwell Park in the UK, where I was surprised how ell the Grey Flash kept up with a Triumph Trident in the rain..kudos to the rider!

No generalisation is wholly true, not even this one.

Kerry,

The rider, Bruno Leroy, is quite good in the rain. Bruno has been friends with Patrick for decades and has been riding Vincents that long.

The Egli framed bike is still winning quite well and the stock Vincent chassis is so new to the racing effort that they are busy tuning it for best performance.

They will be leaving for the IOM on August 12.

The Flash started in 38th place and finished in 12th place over all, which seems to me to be quite good for the first time out.

Speed: 97.482 MPH

Congratulations to Patrick, Bruno and the whole crew!

Patrick told me that Bruno ran out of fuel a few hundred yards from the finish line, so he pushed it over and lost third place. Stil, quite a ride.
