Allo everyone, longtime lurker here.

I'm curious if anyone has seen this before, tapered O/P switch leaking from the joint between the plastic and metal body? Don't have a pic of the leaking bastard, but this is the el-cheapo switch in question

hi

ive not seen it on a bike, but i had it happen once on an older automobile. constant drip.

Into the distance a ribbon of black
Stretched to the point of no turning back
A flight of fancy on a windswept field
Standing alone my senses reeled
A fatal attraction is holding me fast how
How can I escape this irresistible grasp?

That is not at all uncommon.

Your best solution is to find another brand of switch.

Hey TUC,
You may be missing the sealing washer that goes under the shoulder of the switch which allows oil to seep past the area in question.

I have had these in service for years on Vee Twin Guzzis with no issues.

Best,
Rob
