Interesting query you`ve made here. Since I, and maybe others, haven`t seen one of these before, any chance you have a photo of one on a bike or not that you could share? I`m very curious as to the position and method of mounting. Is the intent to eliminate the rear stand for appearance sake? Though they`re a bit fragile, the side props work adequately,... and in conjunction with the rear stand you can lift the whole magilla at the roadside. Can the Hills item perform this, or would its stance be too narrow to be stable? I`d love to see a graphic.
The fewer there are, the greater the value of each......particularly human beings.
I'm no good at posting pictures but it would be the same as the center stand on BSA Clubman, Triumph Bonneville, etc. Mine has two stands both left and right plus the rear stand. None of these are suggested for starting the bike. I have found it to be cumbersome to pull the bike up on the rear stand, not that it is a problem YET. Hills has sold thousands of these stands and after owning the Vincent for 6 months I understand why.
