your BSA stuff is beautiful.

"Are bikes so nice as all that?" asked the mole, shyly...

"Nice? They're the only thing," said the Water Rat Solemnly, as he leaned forward on the handlebars. "Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing -- absolutely nothing -- half so much worth doing as simply messing about with bikes."

Are these the forks I have seen on eBay?
Parts made in India?

Has anyone used one of their springer or girder style front ends?

Thank you for replying Saby. I have your eBay store bookmarked, and was wanting to speak with you about your front ends.

Good to see you post here. I will send off an Email shortly.

The parts on your site look good, and if experience shows that the quality is good also (and folks who buy it will tell us if it is or not), it should do well.

Staying in touch with your customers is very good, including being a part of this forum. You must know that some of your countrymen have given Indian products a bad reputation here in the US, as they claim that they are making quality parts that fit, and experience shows the opposite.

You can reverse that trend!

Good luck!

Lannis

I stopped believing for a little while this morning. Journey is really going to be upset.

Let me ask the experts here, which front ends (old girder style) will swap onto the new (1970) neck?

I intend to use taper style bearings so mods will be done anyway.
Some of the old girders are massive, and I would like to stay as "sleek" as possible.
Any suggestions?
I can match up your ideas with M. Saby's inventory... Nothing lost but time in trying...

The Norton 16H is the front end of choice at the moment. I hope it is a wise choice.

afaik the steering stems are different. prewar v post war Triumphs are, anyway.

If I was buying forks, I'd go for jake Robbins ones, with all of the liability issues and risks if the product failed.

Your help could not be any better. That is exactly what I was looking for.

Thank You!

Ps... That's not the first time "Death Trap" has come up in my build plans. Life is full of challenges. I like it that way.

Hi Lannis,

The main purpose for joining this forum for me is to expalin customers that everyone is not the same. Yes i agree with your point for quality isuues, thats why i came here to show that everyone is not the same, yes the major percentage of people supplying these parts are not good but still there are people like us who take our work very seriously.

Thanks

The 3HW is a very pretty bike, and I do like the front end a great deal.
I also have another in mind that a member tipped me on to.

This is the style I will be using. I am Emailing builders to see who can do this for me.
I will be supplying the shock, and a steering dampener to be incorporated.
Is this something you would be interested in discussing Mr. Saby? If so I will contact you directly.

Edit:
With a little back tracking I found the link the photo came from, and the thread about it's design, and build.
There are several more good photos with good detail.

Thank you Mr. Saby.

I'll set up a "folder" with my ideas, and forward it to you.
Thanks for following the thread, and ideas.
