england uk.
hello everyone, i tend to think that i know quite a bit about british bikes but this hub has me stumped. the hub i have is the crinkle one with the splines and on the splined side, it is the same as any other hub. i have took some photos showing this and they are under this description below. the length on both hubs is the same and the difference is on the right hand side. the freshly painted hub is a victor/a65 hub and has left hand threads on it for the speedo drive ring and the other hub is plain i.e. no threads as like goldstar. the hub is a lot smaller than the victor/a65 hub on the right hand side and i can sit the smaller crinkles of the mystery hub inside the victor one as one of the photos shows. what hub is it ? anyone have any idea, its for sure bsa. i was told that early rigid A7's had qd wheels on both wheels allthough i have never seen this. is this true.? is this what the hub is off. i have had a few people look at it and no one knows the answer. over to you guys to tell me what i have. cheers. billy.

Could it maybe be one of the front wheel QD hubs that was subject of a posting here not long ago?

Just checked through the forum and it looks to be one of the front/rear interchangeable splined hubs for the 47-48 A group (Type4)

Here's a link to the previous thread and which has the Draganfly parts page showing that hub along with the two different brake drum units for the front and rear.
