hello everyone, LF HARRIS who are the makers of alot of triumph parts who supply the trade have gone live with their new website since monday. allthough they only sell to the trade, anyone can access the website and look at what they make. you can do a part number search but dont put a hyphon in i.e. not 67-0987 but 67 0987 its a good website and they only make parts to factory drawing. they will also tell you where your nearest supplier is. check out the website http://www.lfharris.co.uk cheers. billy.
No pictures anywhere on the website. Kind of hard to compare parts. Maybe the website is not finish yet.
Yes, I myself was disappointed with that but giving them the benefit of the doubt that they will be getting that task accomplished very soon.
But then, when you are a big name like that, why launch a website if it isn't complete and ready to go? Maybe the thought process is that potential customers will visit the site, bookmark it and check back often but have they taken into consideration, that many will be turned off immediately and not comeback..maybe never? This might have been the exception in the late '90's or 10 to 15 years ago but at the rate things are moving today and knowing that more people are in the know about these things, it seems a bit sad that a site from a major supplier cannot supply pictures of the items they are selling.
there is very few pic on the site at the moment but they are adding them as time goes on,but to me the pics are meaningless.the site is trade only and all we had before the site was a pdf file and had to call them to order anything, now you can order online and know if its in stock.
